I am celebrating "time". I know have time to expand on some tech projects I used throughout the year as well as surf the net and further look into Classroom 2.0. Hurray

I am celebrating that I am leaving for the beach on the outer banks of North Carolina tomorrow!!! It has been the hardest/most challenging year of my teaching career losing my colleague, Karen Soupiset, to lung cancer on short notice. It sure doesn't seem fair but God's plans are always the best plans. I'm visioning laying on the beach trying to restore some sort of physical, mental and emotion welfare as the summer will be too short. I will carry on in the 3rd grade what Karen and I started and technology will forever be part of the plan!

I am celebrating that school is out for a little bit. It gives me time to take a breath and be ready to start in again next year. We have a "Fun" summer school starting in a month, so I am anxious to see all the kids again and do some of the fun things that I don't have time to do during the school year! Any great ideas for a "picnic" theme? We are doing ants and bees with this idea.....I've found a couple of GREAT webquests for the summer session, but am always looking for ideas to steal and use :)
