Students often send their assignments to me in compressed zip files. When I open and unzip the files, I am totally lost. All I want to do is convert their assignments to Word. The only extracted file I have been using is in the word folder and is the "document" file. When I open the file, even with Internet Explorer, all I get are all of these xml tags. The student's text is buried in the tags. I am faced with hours of editing out all of the xml tags to get a decent Word document. Can you help this poor novice?

Isa Congratulations ! I visited you game for learning website and I can tell you It is terriffic !. Please add me to your list of friends I love technology but I have still too much to learn I will need your help . I teach math and science in Spanish to first grade students and I am looking to integrate technology in my teaching . Your ideas are welcome

Hi,
I am buying a new computer within the week. I have been on 98 OS, 2000IBM Aptiva. I have enjoyed it. Yes, money is an issue. I teach music and would like to record high quality student performances. produce podcasts for instruction and run instructional software. and burn CDs and DVD. Please advise. Thanks, deborah

Are there any plans for creating lesson plans with cell phones. Since the vast majority of students have them, we can't stop the bus, let's get on the bus. How about blogging information about books, or other content relavent information back and forth. Are there any ideas out there?
